Coldplay are back with 'Atlas,' their first new song since 2011's 'Mylo Xyloto' album, and their first-ever song written specifically for a motion picture. The U.K. stadium aces cut 'Atlas' for the 'Hunger Games: Catching Fire' soundtrack, and while Chris Martin and the crew might have gone all widescreen and busted out an effects-laden rocker -- something for the action scenes -- they instead deliver a longing piano ballad.

Of course, it's a Coldplay piano ballad, so there's still plenty of U2-grade grandiosity. With its heroic lyrics, radar-blip noises and twinkling guitars, this one would have fit comfortably on 'All That You Can't Leave Behind.'

"I'll carry your world," Martin sings, reaching the rafters with a voice just right for teen dramas. Coldplay could record music exclusively for these types of blockbusters and still make their yacht payments, but here's hoping their sixth album arrives before the next 'Hunger Games' sequel.
