Death Cab For Cutie took a break from the West Coast leg of their tour last night (July 13) to make an appearance on Conan, performing "The Ghosts of Beverly Drive," a cut from their latest album, Kintsugi. Check out the performance below.

The band's current tour is their first following the departure of guitarist Chris Walla, who left Death Cab For Cutie after recording Kintsugi. Ben Gibbard said of Walla, "I’m certainly not overflowing with joy that Chris left the band, but at the same time, just having — finally after all these years — the catharsis of somebody who’s had — in some ways — one foot out the door for years, finally leave the band, it comes with a particular sense of relief.”

Elsewhere in the particularly musical episode of Conan, Jack Black and Boy George discussed their mutual admiration of The Doors, then performed "Hello I Love You" with the Doors guitarist Robby Krieger.
