Death Cab for Cutie Debut Music Video for ‘Black Sun’

Following a lyric video and ‘Letterman’ performance of their upcoming album’s lead single, ‘Black Sun,’ Death Cab for Cutie have premiered an official music video for the song. In the clip, the song’s glacial pace sets the scene for a slow-motion action movie directed by frontman Ben Gibbard. Check it out above.

‘Black Sun’ will appear on Death Cab for Cutie’s eighth album, ‘Kintsugi,’ when it arrives on March 31 via Atlantic Records. The album marks the Seattle indie rockers’ first without founding member Chris Walla, and it follows their 2011 full-length, ‘Codes and Keys.’
