Next month, the Dee Dee Ramone Exhibition will make its New York City debut, the city where the iconic punk bassist made a name for himself as part of the forever legendary Ramones.

Authorized by the musician's estate, the exhibit will chronicle Dee Dee's artistic career, from being a key member of the Ramones to influencing punk bass as we know it today; it will also feature his creations within the visual arts spectrum.

Previous installments of similar exhibitions of Dee Dee's work have been displayed in Los Angeles at La Luz De Jesus and influential street artist Shepard Fairey's Subliminal Projects galleries. The upcoming exhibit will be held at the Hotel Chelsea Storefront Gallery for less than a month from Dec. 10-Jan. 1 -- so get there while you can!

You can get more info on the exhibit at the artist's website.
