Australian-based indie rockers Dick Diver are gearing up to release their third album, and they've just posted a new track as a welcome tease.

'Tearing the Posters Down' is the second tune to be heard from their forthcoming album, 'Melbourne, Florida,' which is set for release on March 10 on Trouble In Mind Records. The upbeat track finds the band in fine form; its jangly -- and slightly jagged -- guitar rock recalls the glory days of early '80s college rock. Their sound is not all that different from Aussie pop legends the Go-Betweens, or even early R.E.M. -- but fear not, this is not some revival act. Their music comes off as truly vibrant and fresh. Hear for yourself:

Late last year, the band premiered the first taste from the new album with the song 'Waste the Alphabet,' which can be heard below. 'Melbourne, Florida' is the band's first domestic release and was recorded in a former sheep-shearing shed in Apollo Bay, Victoria by Mikey Young. Since forming in late 2008, Dick Diver have released two albums to critical acclaim in their homeland, but with the release of album three, it's likely that more and more listeners will be won over.
