Dinosaur Jr. Announce Summer Tour With Primus

Formative alt-rockers Dinosaur Jr. have announced plans for a summer trek across the states, kicking off on July 17 in Wallingford, Ct., at the Oakdale and wrapping up in Papillion, Neb., at the Sumtur Amphitheater in August. Dinosaur Jr. well serve as special guests for Les Claypool's bass-heavy Primus on all dates, except for Washington D.C. and Boston. You can check out the full tour itinerary below.

Dinosaur Jr.'s last album, I Bet on Sky, was released back in 2012, shortly before frontman J Mascis took some time to focus on his solo material. Mascis released his sophomore solo LP, Tied to a Star, via Sub Pop in August 2014. He also released a special 7" for Record Store Day Black Friday, a cover of Mazzy Star's "Fade Into You" b/w a previously unreleased song from the Tied to a Star recording sessions, "Outside."
