Vinyl sales officially made a comeback in 2014, and now it looks like album art could soon be seeing its own kind of renaissance in the near future.

U.K. tech company Novalia has partnered with San Francisco-based artist DJ QBert to create a one-of-a-kind vinyl album cover for his latest LP, ‘Extraterrestria.’ The interactive cover allows listeners to create their own music by merely touching it.

The album cover is made with conductive ink that, when touched, emits various sounds. A set of looped sounds can help you establish your beat, while you layer the other options on top to compose your own song. Check out the brilliant album cover in action in the video above.

Novalia’s music-creating cover will only be available on the vinyl release of DJ QBert’s ‘Extraterrestria.’
