Donna Summer had died of cancer, according to reports. The singer passed on Thursday, May 17, at the age of 63.

Summer, known for hits like 'I Feel Love,' 'Last Dance,' 'Hot Stuff' and 'She Works Hard for the Money,' shot to fame in the 1970s and was the winner of five Grammys over the course of her career.

While her family "is at peace celebrating her extraordinary life and her continued legacy," fans and fellow artists have taken to Twitter to share their condolences. La Roux, Belle and Sebastian and Red Hot Chili Peppers' Flea are just a handful of the musicians who are remembering the late Queen of Disco.
