It's hard to believe, but 2015 marks 38 years since Elvis Costello first burst onto the music scene. For all 38 of those years, Costello has continued to write, record and tour -- so why should 2015 be any different. The iconic artist has just announced dates for the 'Detour' tour, which will happen in the summer of 2015.

The 21-date U.K. tour kicks off on May 30 at the Salisbury Festival, and will run through the end of June. Costello's most recent tour featured him in a solo setting, reaching deep into his catalog and often delivering 30 or more songs each night to rave reviews.

Prior to the U.K. dates, he will head out for a string of gigs throughout the U.S. as well.
