Exclusive Video Premiere: Sublime With Rome Enlist Dirty Heads to Sound ‘Sirens’

Things start out awfully sunny at the beginning of the video for the title track from Sublime With Rome's second album – the video Diffuser is proud to premiere right here. The California trio kick things off old-school in the R.J. Sanchez-directed clip, seated at the bottom of the emptied out pool at the Pink Motel in Sun Valley (an iconic skateboarding landmark) with skaters in constant motion around them.

But it's right around the Beastie Boys sample when things get hazy. Keep in mind Sublime With Rome recently announced they'll be performing and in a constant search for snacks aboard the inaugural "Light Up the Pacific" cruise (setting sail for the extremely high seas next September), so that's where we were going with the "hazy" allusion. Also aboard that cruise: hip-hop punks Dirtyheads, who also just happen to pop up amidst the clouds in "Sirens." Sublime With Rome frontman Rome Ramirez told us the video shoot wasn't exactly demanding. "Stoked on how this came out!," he said. "Always a good time when you've got a lot of weed and dogs."

Sublime With Rome are just about to embark on a string of fall tour dates through December and several holiday radio shows – the first to be announced being How the Edge Stole Christmas in Grand Prairie, Tex., on Dec. 9. More will be announced shortly.
