Hailing from Denver, Fox Street are getting ready to unleash their third studio album this spring. Today (March 17), Diffuser is thrilled to give you a taste of what to expect from the new record with the dangerously catchy track, “Somethin About You” -- check it out in the audio player below.

“This song is very indicative of where the Fox Street sound is headed,” the band explains about “Somethin About You.” “Poppy enough to get stuck in your head, but still maintaining a fair amount of grit and grease. Though we have incorporated a horn section on select songs and live shows in the past, the horns ended up making it onto every single tune on the new record.”

They go on, “On ‘Somethin About You,’ Fox Street sax man, Mirco Altenbach, is joined by an all-star horn section featuring Jon Gray and Gabriel Mervine on trumpet, as well as a blistering tenor solo by Nathan Peoples. This is Fox Street embracing our ‘70s pop and R&B influences to their fullest -- and because, quite simply, the world needs more catchy tunes about being in love.”

We couldn’t agree more.

Stay tuned for more details on their upcoming LP, but in the meantime, make sure you stay up-to-date with everything happening in Fox Street’s world at their official website. They have a handful of dates scheduled in Colorado and California this month, as well as plans to make an appearance at the Denver Day of Rock on May 23; you can find their full tour itinerary here.
