The Internet has been providing an outlet for bored people to unleash their worthless -- yet entertaining -- video creations upon the public for some time now. These videos are often best when they're made from great source material. So it's no surprise that the hit HBO show 'Game of Thrones' has been embraced so quickly and so hilariously by the roving masses of people with nothing better to do. These unofficial 'Game of Thrones' tribute videos make us happy to live in the land of leisure.

  • 'Buffy the Vampire Slayer' Opening Mash-Up

Movie and TV fans have made a ton of mash-ups  combining different shows, and this one definitely belongs in the Top 10 of all time. While the original 'Game of Thrones' opening sequence is very cool, it does drag on a bit after a while. Someone pepped it up, mashing the opening up with the kick-ass, distortion-fueled song and fast, action-packed cuts of 'Buffy the Vampire Slayer.'

  • 'Arrested Development' Mash-Up

The best mash-ups use the best material as inspiration. Considering everything that happens to every character on 'Game of Thrones' -- and 'Arrested Development,' for that matter -- does this mash-up make 'Game of Thrones' look more lighthearted, or does it put a dark spin on 'Arrested Development'?

  • Game of Goats

The Internet has also proved to be prime territory for really weird stuff. Sometimes you watch something and become confused, maybe even a little dizzy. But we're sure that won't happen when you watch this lovely compilation of goats, sheep and a few other animals singing the 'Game of Thrones' opening music. It sounds like angels -- screaming goat angels. (FYI, Screaming Goat Angels is going to be our band name, so you can't use it.)

  • 2D Animated Opening

Many of us here are nerds at heart, and in our minds, and in the way we dress ... and in every way possible, really. So it's no surprise that we love infographics and animation, and 'Game of Thrones,' of course. So, needless to say, this animated infographic opening of 'GoT' gets us pretty excited. We especially like the animated house sigils.

  • 'Game of Hearts' Romantic Comedy

Remember the old Marvel 'What If ... ?' comics? This video is sort of like those comics, asking, "What if someone made a romantic comedy about Tyrion Lannister and Sansa Stark?" It would look like this awesome video. You should watch it, then go out and get some of those great 'What If ... ?' comics if you don't know what we're talking about.

  • Reactions to the Infamous 'Red Wedding'

Not every video has to involve re-editing footage or adding extra dialogue. This compilation features some of the best candid videos of fans reacting to the brutal 'Red Wedding' scene. Those viewers who hadn't read the books were caught completely off guard by the gory murder of the Stark clan. The reactions start at the 1:25 mark. You're welcome.

  • Wish Fulfillment

While the story in 'Game of Thrones' is compelling and intriguing, it doesn't always go the way you may want it to. We understand this is necessary to keep the show great, but sometimes we'd just like things to work out how we want. Thanks to this video, we have a little taste of short-term gratification. The cartoon gives every character exactly what he or she deserves. Just watch this video every time a character you love gets murdered in some heinous method. In other words, you should probably have it cued up before every episode.

  • 'A Character I Used to Know'

Many of us who've been drawn into the world of 'Game of Thrones' often could use some help coping with the constant grief we're subject to. As soon as you think you've got a hold on where the story is going, the person upon whom you've placed your hopes and dreams is sliced in half. Along with his or her friends and family -- probably by the character you hate the most. Comedy team Not Literally used the soothing sounds of Gotye's 'Somebody That I Used to Know' to create this  music video to let us know that we don't have to grieve alone.

  • Trailer Set to Lorde's 'Everybody Wants to Rule the World'

This fan-made trailer isn't nearly as drastic a departure from the original as many of the other videos are. Someone simply took one of HBO's trailers for season four of 'Game of Thrones' and replaced the music with Lorde's cover of the Tears for Fears classic 'Everybody Wants to Rule the World.' Too bad 'Hunger Games: Catching Fire' got to this song first, because it fits this 'GoT' trailer perfectly.

  • 'Medieval Land Fun-Time World'

Although this list isn't numbered, it's hard not to have a favorite entry. So many are so good. The 'Buffy'-styled opening would be a candidate, as would be the trailer set to Lorde covering Tears for Fears. But none of those hold a candle to Bad Lip Reading's 'Medieval Land Fun-Time World.' It's the art of bad lip-reading at its finest. None of the other entries fill us with the sense of regret as this trailer does. We'd give just about anything to see this as a feature-length film in a theater. Oh, well.
