The jetset life is looking good on former My Chemical Romance frontman Gerard Way.

After announcing his upcoming solo debut, 'Hesitant Alien,' set to drop Sept. 30, the newly dapper Way also just revealed he'll be playing his first official solo gig at the 400-capacity Portsmouth Wedgewood Rooms in Portsmouth, England, on Aug. 20.

Way was already set to perform at the Reading and Leeds festivals this weekend, but he had hinted that he'd like to first play an intimate secret show as a warm-up. He confirmed the plan earlier today (Aug. 18) on Twitter:

Although this will be his first solo show fan can buy tickets to, the singer already made a surprise appearance earlier this month at Warner Bros. in Burbank, Calif. where he performed as 'Gerard Way and the Hormones' as part of the label's Summer Sessions concert series.
