London's premier three-piece rock outfit, Happyness -- who played one of Diffuser's showcases during last year's CMJ Music Festival in NYC -- recently covered the Smiths' 'There Is a Light That Never Goes Out' for NME. Check out their performance above.

The original track appears on the Smiths' 'The Queen Is Dead,' and although bands seem to be constantly covering Morrissey-sung classics, Happyness do the song justice with their own alternative approach.

Happyness will reissue their debut LP, 'Weird Little Birthday' -- which was only just released in June via Weird Smiling -- and it will include a bonus track titled 'A Whole New Shape.' Stream it below:
