Heartless Bastards to Release New Album, ‘Restless Ones,’ in June

Heartless Bastards have announced they will follow up their 2012 full-length, Arrow, with a new album this summer. Restless Ones -- the band’s fifth LP -- will arrive on June 16 via Partisan Records. Check out the album art below:

“We took a lot of chances taking the sounds in different directions in order to grow,” frontwoman Erika Wennerstrom said of the Cincinnati blues-rockers’ latest effort. “I don’t ever want to make the same album twice.”

“As always, Erika’s lyrical honesty informs the behavior of the whole project,” bassist Jesse Ebaugh added in a press release. “There comes a time in an artist’s trajectory when you realize that your entire life experience is expressed through the work, so you better be able to relax and let the work reflect the experience that is yours.”
