Interpol frontman Paul Banks has mapped out a lengthy tour in support of his forthcoming solo album, which drops Oct. 23 and is titled simply 'Banks.' The singer-guitarist kicks off the month-long U.S. leg of his trek on Nov. 3 at the Fun Fun Fun Fest in Austin, Texas, and then returns to the road next year for a European leg that begins Jan. 20 in Dublin, Ireland.

Two tracks from 'Banks' -- the disc's first track, 'The Base,' and its final track, 'Summertime Is Coming' -- are currently available for streaming at Consequence of Sound.

'Banks' is the follow-up to Paul Banks' first solo disc, ‘Julian Plenti Is… Skyscraper,’ he which released under his alter ego Julian Plenti in August of 2009. He also issued a five-song EP under the Julian Plenti moniker titled ‘Julian Plenti Lives…’ in July.
