Jimmy Fallon and Anne Hathaway Give Rap Classics Some Broadway Class
Whether it's his epic lip-sync contests with pals like Paul Rudd or dressing up like Bruce Springsteen to perform alongside the Boss himself, Jimmy Fallon has nailed the musical comedy bit on late-night TV.
In less than two months since he took over the reins of 'The Tonight Show,' Fallon has turned R. Kelly's 'Ignition (Remix)' into a barbershop-quartet jam and sang doo-wop with Billy Joel and an iPad.
Last night he enlisted Anne Hathaway to duet with him on rap classics by Snoop Dogg, 50 Cent and Kendrick Lamar done Broadway style. Fallon mans the piano as Hathaway takes the mic. You can watch the video above.
"Hey Anne, how about we do this next one like we were 'In Da Club'?" Fallon asks like the squarest guy in the room. Meanwhile, Hathaway delivers a Broadway-bound performance of the 50 classic, which she somehow manages to make ridiculous and sexy at the same time.
