Created back in 2004 in Melbourne, Australia, the St. Jerome’s Laneway Festival has since traveled to New Zealand and Singapore, and this year, the indie music event makes its U.S. debut on Sept. 14 in Detroit, Mich. Sigur Ros and the National are set to headline, and support acts include Deerhunter, Solange, Savages, Frightened Rabbits and more.

Festival-goers will also enjoy performances by Run the Jewels (El-P and Killer Mike), the Dismemberment Plan, Washed Out, Youth Lagoon, Icona Pop, Haerts, CHVRCHES, My Brightest Diamond, Flume, Charli XCX, Warpaint and Phosphorescent. Previous editions of the fest have seen the likes of Camera Obscura, Yo La Tengo, the Hold Steady, Cut Copy, Feist, Dan Deacon, Stars, Tame Impala, the Temper Trap, Florence + the Machine, the xx, the Antlers and Austra.

“We were drawn to Laneway’s pedigree as a ground-breaking festival for indie music and we wanted to bring that here to Detroit, a place with its own incredible pedigree for musical innovation,” said Lucinda Treat, executive VP for Business Operations and Strategy at Palace Sports & Entertainment, in a statement. “This lineup embodies our ambitions and as we get closer to September, we’re certain we will deliver what Laneway fans have come to expect and more.”

Advance tickets are on sale now for $79.50, and a limited number of early bird four-pack passes will be released for $64.50. Check out the festival's official lineup announcement video below.
