Listen to El-P’s ‘Fantastic Four’ Song, ‘Another Body’
Earlier this month, Josh Trank, the director of the upcoming Marvel movie, Fantastic Four, revealed that Run the Jewels’ El-P composed music that will play during the film’s end credits. Last night (July 24), the rapper debuted the new song, "Another Body," on his Beats 1 radio show with Killer Mike, WRTJ. Take a listen in the video above.
According to El-P, “Another Body” was inspired by composer Philip Glass, who co-wrote the soundtrack for Fantastic Four. The soundtrack will be available for purchase on Aug. 14, a week after the movie lands in theaters on Aug. 7.
El-P and Killer Mike have been virtually non-stop since the arrival of their critically acclaimed sophomore effort, Run the Jewels 2, last year. In addition to their weekly Beats 1 program, they recently unveiled “Meowlry,” a remix of the RTJ2 track, "Early." It's the very first track to emerge from their upcoming Meow the Jewels remix project (yes, you read that right).
Run the Jewels also have a full schedule of touring ahead of them. Their next stop takes them to Reading and Leeds festivals in the U.K. Then, the duo will return to the states at the end of September. Get more details right here.
