The members of the London Souls and their immediate families are saying their prayers at the moment for singer-guitarist Tash Neal (pictured on the left). The musician was struck Wednesday morning, May 30, in New York City by a hit-and-run driver, and he's currently in intensive care.

Spinner reports that Neal's brother Sean issued a statement on the band's Facebook page. He revealed, "Tash Neal was a victim of a hit-and-run taxi cab accident early Wednesday morning on Bleecker and Broadway in New York City. He survived brain surgery and is at Bellevue Hospital in intensive care. Thank you for all your prayers, love and support."

The musician reportedly opened his eyes Friday morning for the first time since the surgery, and the doctors say that it's a good sign. However, Neal remains in critical condition, and his brother Sean asks for prayers and positive thoughts sent his way.

The group issued their single 'The Sound' earlier this year. It's also featured in the 'Need For Speed: The Run' video game soundtrack and a commercial for Ugg for Men.
