Mac Miller enjoyed the spotlight at the 2012 mtvU Woodie Awards last night (March 15) in Austin, Texas. The alt rapper took home two trophies and gave a killer performance to make his SXSW experience a memorable one this year.

"Easy Mac" won the Performing Woodie award for being the best live act and also snagged the biggest honor of the night, Woodie of the Year. The Pittsburgh, Penn., native expressed his gratitude while accepting his prize.

"I've worked so hard every day for the last five years and winning tonight means people recognize what I'm doing," Miller said. "I'm really thankful. This is a huge win for my fans and me."

The MC busted out performances of 'Party on 5th Avenue', 'Smile Back', 'Donald Trump' and 'Loud' during the ceremony.

Machine Gun Kelly left the bash with the Breaking Woodie award, given to the best emerging artist. "Thanks to my fans ... This is an award the world didn't want us to win but we did it together. Congrats to the fans and f--k me," stated a humbled MGK.

A new category introduced this year was the EDF Effect Woodie, which went to Calvin Harris for his collaboration with pop megastar Rihanna on 'We Found Love.' Actress Drew Barrymore came out on top with the Best Video Woodie as the director for Best Coast's 'Our Deal'. The West Side Story-inspired clip was an important project for Barrymore.

"Thanks to MTV. There is no venue or company like them," Barrymore praised. "I wanted to tell a story set to the dreamy sounds of Best Coast's music. I am lucky to have had this opportunity!!! I hope I get another!"

The 30-minute "2012 mtvU Woodie Awards Special" will air this Sunday, March 18, at 8pm EST, on MTV and mtvU. Catch performances from Mac Miller, Santigold and Steve Aoki. The special will also feature appearances by B.o.B, J. Cole, Cobra Starship, Chiddy Bang and more.
