We’re only a few short weeks away from this year’s SXSW in Austin, and the music festival just announced yet another exciting event on the itinerary: Milky Chance will headline a showcase show at Stubb’s BBQ on March 19.

The German electro-folk outfit’s Clemens Rehbein and Philipp Dausch will share the stage with dream-pop duo MS MR, along with singer-songwriters Ryn Weaver, Tei Shi and Max Frost. The concert will kick off at 7PM on Thursday, March 19 at Stubb’s (801 Red River Street) and is open to all Music/Platinum badge and Music wristband holders.

Milky Chance dropped their critically acclaimed debut, ‘Sadnecessary,’ back in 2013 (although it didn’t land stateside until nearly a year later this past October). After their SXSW showcase, they’ll embark on a U.S. tour -- check out the complete list of dates on the band’s website.

SXSW runs from March 17-22, featuring a stacked lineup that includes the Zombies, Carl Barat and the Jackals, Twin Shadow, Surfer Blood and more. In addition to the countless shows booked all around town, SXSW also recently announced the schedule for this year’s lineup of more than 20 music conference sessions – you can find details about those here.
