Last fall, Morrissey halted his tour in order to spend time with his mother, who had been hospitalized due to an undisclosed ailment. The tour was later rescheduled, but now, a few upcoming shows have been postponed due to another unexpected health issue: band illness.

The former Smiths singer was scheduled to perform last night (Jan. 24) in Flint, Mich., but the show was cancelled at the last minute, and ticket-holders were promised a full refund. The next two concerts -- in Minneapolis and Chicago on Jan. 25 and 26 -- have been put on hold until a later date, in order to give Moz's group some time to recover.

“Those who have already purchased tickets for performances in Minneapolis and Chicago are highly encouraged to hold on to their tickets and look out for rescheduled dates," reads a statement on True to You. "The tour will resume Monday, January 28, in Asheville, N.C.”
