Last weekend a couple tied the knot at the Coachella festival in Indio, Calif., so Radiohead's headlining set on Saturday could serve as their reception entertainment. Marcus Mumford of Mumford and Sons, however, doesn't need to pull such tricks to get A-list entertainment for his nuptials.

Saturday (April 21) Mumford married his sweetheart, actress Carey Mulligan, during a ceremony on a farm in Somerset, England, in front of a celebrity-studded crowd that included Jake Gyllenhaal, Colin Firth and Sienna Miller. Their reception entertainment? None other than Grammy-winning songbird Adele.

Twenty-four-year-old Mumford and 26-year-old Mulligan got engaged last August after a brief romance of just five months. Mumford, of course, fronts his namesake indie folk quartet. Mulligan is best known for her roles in 'Drive,' 'Wall Street: Money Never Sleeps' and 'Shame.' “They’re a great couple,” a pal told US Weekly of their romance. “Very sweet.”

Mumford and Sons currently are working on the long-awaited follow-up to their 2009 smash, ‘Sigh No More,’ although the as-yet-untitled disc may not surface until next year. "The only people that have heard it are [producer Markus] Dravs, our manager and us," Mumford recently told NME. "No-one else has been involved in the process.”
