My Morning Jacket Map Out Summer 2012 Tour with Band of Horses

My Morning Jacket have announced dates for a summer tour and are bringing Band of Horses along for the ride. The two will kick off the trek in August for a month-long road trip across North America.

My Morning Jacket and Band of Horses will play back-to-back shows at the legendary Red Rocks Amphitheatre in Denver, Colo., Aug. 3-4. Other cities on deck include Kansas City, Mo.; Minneapolis, Minn.; Detroit, Mich.; Toronto, Canada; Washington D.C. and more. See all the dates below.

My Morning Jacket are touring in continued support of their sixth studio album, 'Circuital,' which was released last May. The album debuted at No. 5 on the Billboard 200 charts, selling roughly 55,000 copies in its first week out.

Band of Horses are currently in the studio working on their fourth full-length release, which would be the follow-up to 2010's 'Infinite Arms.' Footage of the Seattle, Wash.-based outfit performing a new song called 'Long Vows' surfaced online a couple of weeks ago. The fan-made video was recorded during their set at Lollapalooza Brazil.
