The Nelsonville Music Festival returns for its ninth annual go-round on May 30-June 2 at the picturesque, historic village of Robbins Crossing at Hocking College in Nelsonville, Ohio. The four-day bash features headliners Wilco, Gogol Bordello, Cat Power and more.

This year’s impressive lineup also includes Mavis Staples, John Prine, Sharon Van Etten, Calexico, Jonathan Richman, Tift Merritt, the Coup, Reigning Sound, Wild Belle, Brown Bird, Field Report, Shilpa Ray, the Honeycutters, Lucius, Cotton Jones, William Tyler, Wooden Indian Burial Ground, Wheels on Fire, Country Pharaohs, J.D. Hutchinson, J.J. Reed and Weedghost. Previous festivals have seen the likes of Iron and Wine, M. Ward, the Avett Brothers, the Flaming Lips, Neko Case, Yo La Tengo and Shovels & Rope.

"I came away from Nelsonville thinking: 'I want to do more festivals like these where I can really do what I want and not feel like I've got to give the stadium-career-making-by-the-numbers show.' It's the perfect size festival. Any bigger and you'd lose something," said Andrew Bird, who performed at last year’s edition of the fest.

Four-day passes are on sale now for $110; single-day and VIP weekend tickets are also available for purchase. Click here for more info.
