Upcoming Alternative + Rock Music Releases

This year has already been full of remarkable releases from the likes of David Bowie (just two days prior to his passing in January), Kanye West (the bumpiest album release in recent memory) and Animal Collective (the experimental outfit’s 10th LP to date). That trend continues into March, as we look forward to new albums from M. Ward, Miike Snow, Violent Femmes, Gwen Stefani, White Denim and more.

On March 11, we’ll get You And I, another posthumous release from Jeff Buckley comprised of songs tracked prior to his one and only album Grace. Then, Iggy Pop will drop Post Pop Depression, his collaborative album with Queens of the Stone Age’s Josh Homme, on March 18. He recently hinted the album might be his last.
