New Pornographers are set to return early this year with their seventh album, Whiteout Conditions — and they've already released the record's first single, "High Ticket Attractions."

Whiteout Conditions, scheduled for an April 7 release and available to pre-order now, arrives roughly two and a half years after the band's previous release, 2014's Brill Bruisers, which peaked at No. 13 on the U.S. Billboard 200 Albums chart. It serves as the debut for new drummer Joe Seiders, who's toured with the group for the last several years, and marks the first New Pornographers album not to feature guitarist Dan Bejar.

While fans wait for the record's arrival, they can whet their appetites with leadoff single "High Ticket Attractions," which makes its debut on major music services today (Jan. 27) and is available for streaming and as a download with digital pre-orders.

Shortly after the album's release, the band is scheduled to head out on tour for a run of spring dates, which start April 18 in Minneapolis and continue through May 6 in Austin.
