With a sound drenched in melody, dreamy atmospherics and dance floor-ready beats, California-based rockers Night Riots create songs fit for both sweaty clubs and massive arenas. In 2011, Rolling Stone named the band -- then known as PK -- “one of the top 16 unsigned bands in North America," while MTV Buzzworthy called the combo “one of the most critically overlooked bands of 2012.”

Building on a discography that already includes one studio album and a pair of EPs, Night Riots recently released ‘Young Lore,’ an excellent 6-track collection that should raise the band’s profile. Check out the video for 'Remedy' for further proof. As they support the EP via a tour with Hopeless Records artists Driver Friendly, Night Riots have agreed to hit Diffuser.fm with a series of guest blog posts from the road.

In this first installment, an exclusive video filmed in San Francisco, guitarist Nick Fotinakes guides us through the iconic Great American Music Hall. The clip takes us inside the theater before and during the band’s performance. Watch it below, and stay tuned to Diffuser.fm for more exclusive Night Riots tour diary entries.
