Nude Beach, ‘Some Kinda Love’ – New Video

Today marks the release of Nude Beach's 'II,' and to celebrate, the New York City-based trio has issued a video for the album's 'Some Kinda Love' (which is not to be confused with a cover of the Velvet Underground song 'Some Kind of Love'). The clip was written and directed by Tom Scharpling, who hosts a local New York-area indie radio show, and who has previously helmed Wild Flag, Titus Andronicus, and New Pornographers videos.

The 'Some Kinda Love' clip is similar to one of those fancy lyric videos that seem to be all the rage these days, only instead of lyrics popping up on the screen, it's biographical facts about Nude Beach. So maybe it could be called a "bio video," and maybe it could start a whole new trend. Or maybe not.
