If the settings for most music festivals are a little too arid and Midwestern for your summer vacation plans, the lineup for the first-ever Ohana Music Festival in California could get you off the couch.

Eddie Vedder, Lana Del Rey and Elvis Costello are among the acts confirmed for the inaugural two-day event Aug. 27 and 28 at Doheny State Beach in Dana Point. Other acts include Band of Horses, X, Mudhoney, Cat Power, Social Distortion, City and Colour.

Aside from the music, Ohana will also feature a surf and ocean awareness exhibit curated by pro surfer Kelly Slater along with local craft beer, wine and artisan food vendors.

One-day festival admission is $99.50; two-day admission is $195. VIP sare $499 per day. Tickets go on sale at 10 a.m. Friday here.

Ohana will donate a portion of proceeds to the San Onofre Parks Foundation, a California non-profit that cooperatively works with the California State Parks to develop, preserve and enhance the recreation and experience of California’s unique and beautiful coastal parks.
