One of Our Favorite Things About Mountain Jam: Epic ‘Wish Tree’

This weekend, we're at Mountain Jam – the massive, four-day festival in upstate New York that includes Jeff Tweedy (who just announced his forthcoming solo record), Avett Brothers, Blitzen Trapper, Lucius  and more.

But oh, did we get a great early treat on our first day here. In the main lobby, we encountered the "wish tree" – apparently an installation of outsider art that encourages Mountain Jam-goers to hang a pink paper "wish" on its branches.

As we all know, Jammers are a creative, and mystic, bunch. Case in point: The awesome (and ... weird) wishes that people are hanging on the wish tree.
