OutKast Headlining Governor’s Ball

OutKast's long-awaited reunion won't be limited to Coachella. Earlier today, Governor's Ball organizers gave word to Rolling Stone that Andre 3000 and Big Boi will headline this year's festival, which runs June 6 through 8 on Randall's Island in New York City.

Governor’s Ball 2014 will feature more than 80 acts, and while Outkast are the first confirmed performers, the folks behind the fest plan to preface next week’s official lineup announcement with a series of Facebook, Twitter and Instagram hints.

No word yet on whether OutKast will commemorate their glorious reformation by giving the world new music, but fans hoping to finally get a follow-up to 2006′s ‘Idlewild’ are no doubt heartened by news of the duo’s bicoastal tour dates.
