Phoenix Playing ‘Saturday Night Live’

Phoenix are headed back to 'Saturday Night Live.' The French electro-rockers have signed up for an April 6 appearance on the weekly NBC comedy, during which they'll perform tunes from their forthcoming album 'Bankrupt!' Actress Melissa McCarthy has been tapped to host that night's episode.

Phoenix have also added a handful of U.S. dates to their upcoming tour. The shows are scattered between March 28 and May 12, when the band closes out its American run in Camden, N.J. Check out the full itinerary here.

'Bankrupt!,' meanwhile, drops in April, and the band will celebrate its launch with an April 22 record release concert in London at Shepherd’s Bush Empire. It will be the band's first British show of the year, but likely not their last -- we expect Phoenix to stay quite busy on the road for the better part of the next year, at the very least.
