With federal funding for Planned Parenthood being threatened, a group of musicians, comedians and actors are rallying to help with a series of vinyl releases that's being called “7-Inches for Planned Parenthood.” You can check out the first installment of the series, in which St. Vincent and John Legend take on Minnie Ripperton's "Loving You," with some advice from Zach Galifianakis, above.

"This curated series of 7-inch vinyl records is being made by a group of people who believe that access to health care is a public good that should be fiercely protected," reads a press release. "Do we know there’s a joke in the name? We do. We hope the title evokes the rich history of 7-inch vinyl records as a medium for protest music and resistance."

Pitchfork notes that joining Legend and St. Vincent in the project are such artists including Foo Fighters, Sleater-Kinney, Bjork, Bon Iver, Feist, members of the National, Mary J. Blige, Common, Margaret Cho and Pete Holmes. Kristen Stewart is slated to direct a video by Chvrches.

The songs will be released, both on vinyl and digitally, in the coming weeks, and a box set will be compiled. "Planned Parenthood will receive 100% of the proceeds from the sale of this 7-inch box set and streaming listens," the organizers added. "We see this initiative as the start of something bigger, and hope it will inspire both contributors and listeners to continue to seek out ways to stand with Planned Parenthood and other institutions that are so vital to us all."
