California duo Pomplamoose have put their distinct spin on songs as diverse as doo-wop classics to Earth, Wind and Fire jams for a few years now. But their latest revision may be their crowning achievement.

The couple has reworked James Brown's 1965 hit 'I Got You (I Feel Good)' as a mellow, groove-soaked summertime song. And best of all, they did it all by themselves.

The above video, which was recorded live with no overdubs, shows how Jack Conte and Nataly Dawn assembled the track using just the studio gear surrounding them.

And yeah, we geeked out over all that gear too. Pretty cool, huh?
