Guitarist/vocalist Tim Armstrong will double up his workload this summer, as his main band, Rancid, embarks on a short but sweet June tour with his other project, the rap-punk supergroup the Transplants. It's only a 10-date trek that hits mostly East Coast cities and a few Canadian outposts, but we're confident that Armstrong can handle playing twice per night! He's indestructible, like the Rancid album from 2003.

The tour begins in Detroit on June 11 and runs through June 23 in Norfolk, Va.

Rancid are working on a new album, their first since 2009's 'Let the Dominoes Fall,' while the Transplants will release 'In a Warzone' in May. So the next few months are a busy time for Armstrong.
