Samsung has decided to celebrate the arrival of the new Galaxy S III by way of a new Olympic-themed commercial featuring basketball legend Carmelo Anthony and the song 'Smile Big' by Leftover Cuties.

An eye-catching graphic of the Olympic torch illuminates the screen of the powerful Samsung mobile device as it is handed off from one athlete to another, culminating in Anthony proudly holding up the phone before a cheering crowd.

'Smile Big' is the band's most recent single and was released digitally just last week (on July 27). The Leftover Cuties put out a full-length album in the spring of 2011 entitled 'Places to Go,' followed by 'Departures,' an EP of covers that was released on May 15. Their collection of covers is quite eclectic, showcasing renditions of hit songs by Regina Spektor, Lady Gaga, Bing Crosby, Etta James, Bob Dylan and Coldplay.

The Leftover Cuties have also been featured in the popular Showtime show 'The Big C.' Their song 'Game Called Life' -- a track off of their 2009 EP by the same name -- served as the opening theme song for the television series.
