Scion Audio Visual is planning to pitch a pop-up record store, Scion AV Record Shop, at the Scion AV Installation (7667 Melrose Ave, Los Angeles) on Dec. 13 that will stay open until Jan. 31.

The event, which will run for seven full weeks from noon-7PM daily, will include nearly two dozen independent labels offering a bunch of vinyl rarities for sale. Those making a purchase may also be lucky enough to get a complimentary Scion AV vinyl release.

Participating labels include A389 Recordings, Dim Mak Records, Duck Down Music, Echo Park Records, Fools Gold Records, In The Red Recordings, Metal Blade Records, Nuclear Blast, Prosthetic Records, Relapse Records, Riding Easy Records, Stones Throw Records, Tee Pee Records, Third Man Records, Turbo Recordings and Volcom Entertainment.

And for our headbanging readers, Nuclear Blast will have a selection of limited edition Slayer releases on clear vinyl. Scion was not only the metal band's tour sponsor recently, but they also manufactured a Slayer-inspired car which was unveiled at SEMA in Las Vegas.
