An animated version of Skrillex is set to make a cameo appearance in the forthcoming Disney movie 'Wreck-It Ralph.' The EDM guru was turned into a computer-animated character to play a DJ in the flick, which explores the behind-the-scenes lives of old-school video game characters like Sonic the Hedgehog and Pac-Man.

Skrillex had already signed on to contribute some tracks to the flick's soundtrack when the DJ role was proposed. "We asked him if we could do it," producer Clark Spencer told Total Film. "We went to him first and said, 'Hey, we have this party scene... and we have a DJ and we think it would make a nice cameo if we put you into it.' And he was ecstatic."

Spencer also reveals how detail-oriented Skrillex was about his appearance. "We built his model, we put on his look, and we sent it to him to have him give us comments," the producer says. "And he said he would never wear non-black tennis shoes. He said, 'My tennis shoes will always be black.' So we changed the tennis shoes to black."

'Wreck-It Ralph,' which features the voices of John C. Reilly, Sarah Silverman and Jane Lynch, is due to hit screens on Nov. 2. In the meantime, check out the trailer for the flick below.
