The launch of Apple Music is swiftly approaching and Apple's new streaming service will  include a live internet radio component under the name Beats 1. Apple originally revealed that popular BBC Radio 1 host Zane Lowe would be leaving his gig to host a show for Apple, and the company is still naming others who will have shows on Beats 1 including Annie Clark of St. Vincent and Josh Homme of Queens of the Stone Age.

In a New York Times article focused on Lowe himself, it was revealed that the musicians along with electronica duo Disclosure are among many other artists who will be hosting individual shows. Elton John and Jaden Smith will also host their own shows and Dr. Dre will take ownership of his own show called “The Pharmacy."

In typical fashion, Apple will upload the free app onto your phone whether you like it or not, but the caliber of the artists planning to contribute should make for an interesting listen. Beats 1 radio will launch on June 30 along with the entire Apple Music platform. Eminem is slated as Lowe's first guest, as revealed on Lowe's Instagram.
