If music, like fashion, works in cycles, 2013 may be the year Suede comes back in a big way. The veteran British act has announced plans to release a comeback album titled 'Bloodsports' sometime later this year. The lead single, 'It Starts and Ends with You,' arrives in February, but in the meantime, the band is whetting fans' appetites with a new track titled 'Barriers,' which you can download here or by clicking on the button below.

"'Barriers' isn't the first single but we are proud of it enough just to chuck it out there and thought that its pulsing, romantic swell somehow summed up the feel of the album quite nicely," frontman Brett Anderson says if the track, which grooves along with a mellow, melodic and theatrical vibe reminiscent of the band's '90s heyday.

Formed in London in 1989, Suede reached their commercial peak with 1996's 'Coming Up.' The band broke up following the release of their fifth album, 'A New Morning,' a U.K. commercial flop that was never officially released in the States.
