Governors Ball

Unlike the previous two days, where fans just sorta streamed in at their leisure, festival goers made an effort to get to Randall's Island early yesterday to make sure they were there to see everything Governors Ball had to offer.

Even though temperatures were at their smoldering peak on the second day of the Governors Ball Music Festival, that didn't stop the artists from adding their own heat.

As great as the first day of the Governors Ball music fest turned out to be, the second day was even greater.

If you're not able to make it to Governors Ball on Randall's Island in New York City this weekend, that's OK.

Music festivals have been known to be the best place for artists to make big comebacks and to debut new material.

The third and final night of Governors Ball began just as the sun went down over Randall’s Island. Brooklyn indie rockers Grizzly Bear took to the main stage with pure gusto, filling the valley of mud before them with the sweet melodies of 'Shields,' their latest record.

Upon returning to Governors Ball for day two, Diffuser.fm experienced a blissful moment of true festival-ness. It wasn’t ideal, but it happened anyway. The lineup for the third annual Governors Ball – a music festival held in Randall’s Island, N.Y. – has just been announced. The event is scheduled to take place from June 7-9 and feature more than 60 acts from a variety of genres, including indie rock, hip-hop, pop, dance and electronica.
