Iggy Pop

March will come in (and go out) like a lion this year with new albums from Iggy Pop + Josh Homme, Jeff Buckley, Gwen Stefani and many more.

"I feel like I'm closin' up after this," Iggy Pop said of his future following the upcoming 'Post Pop Depression.' "The energy's more limited now."

The Stooges frontman and his 'Post Pop Depression' collaborators Josh Homme, Dean Fertita and Matt Helders will hit the road this spring.

The second track revealed from their surprise album sounds like a perfect blend of Queens of the Stone Age and Iggy's inherent level of coolness.

The new duo premiered the first single from their (formerly) secret album 'Post Pop Depression' and sat down for a pretty hilarious chat.

'Post Pop Depression' is billed solely as an Iggy Pop album, but also features contributions by members of QOTSA, the Dead Weather and Arctic Monkeys.

The Queens of the Stone Age frontman said 'Post Pop Depression' is a pseudo-sequel to Pop's 1977 collaboration with David Bowie, 'Lust For Life.'

“The friendship was basically that this guy salvaged me from certain professional and maybe personal annihilation -- simple as that,” the Stooges frontman said.
