Temper Trap Tease New Track ‘Need Your Love’

Good news, Temper Trap fans: While you're counting down the hours until the band returns with its new self-titled album on May 18, you can treat yourself to a teaser for the first single, 'Need Your Love.'

Like most things these days, it all came together via Twitter -- where the band posted its announcement of the video teaser yesterday -- and on YouTube, where the one-minute clip is currently streaming.

Combining studio performance footage, interview clips, and standard music video shots, the 'Need Your Love' clip does a fine job of hinting at what fans can expect from the new record without giving away too much. And although no release date for the single has been announced (the band would only say it'll be "out soon" in its tweet), the fact that they're already putting together this clip suggests we could be hearing the whole song any day now.

In the meantime, you can still hear the album track 'Rabbit Hole' in its entirety, peruse the complete 'Temper Trap' track listing, and live vicariously through reports of the band's experiences at this year's SXSW festival. Hang in there, fans -- May 18 is just around the corner.
