Hot on the heels of their self-titled debut album, the Deslondes have just debuted the official music video for "The Real Deal." Check it out above.

The rootsy, country-washed sounds of the New Orleans-based band are set to a series of, what one might call "wacky hijinks" in the video. The offbeat visuals help show off the band's, well, offbeat personalities as we follow them around in for an adventurous day. Ths song is short on frills but long on genuine down home goodness, with driving rhythm, tasty guitar licks and sweet harmonies, all front and center.

The self-titled debut has already been gaining critical ground with high praise from the likes of NPR, Pitchfork and of course, Diffuser, while The New York Times recently referred to the band as "burgeoning stars."

"I’d say we have a very interesting story for people that are interested in band stories," bassist Dan Cutler recently told Uncut. "There are even some life-altering coincidences in there. It is a long story with lots of details, though. It can be summed up as a band of disparate (or desperate) parts that came together and grew up in New Orleans."
