The Kills Announce New Album ‘Ash & Ice,’ Share Laid-Back ‘Doing It to Death’ Video

Alison Mosshart just dropped her most recent album, Dodge & Burn, with her supergroup the Dead Weather in September, but she’s already back to work with her main gig the Kills. The garage-rockers will return with their fifth album this summer.

Mosshart and guitarist Jamie Hince will release Ash & Ice on June 3 via Domino. Today (March 1), they have shared a music video for lead-off track “Doing It to Death.” The clip is a fairly literal interpretation of the song’s central proclamation, as Mosshart and Hince lead just about the breeziest funeral procession ever. Check it out above. The band also shared a note announcing the album, video and new tour dates:
