It takes a certain kind of band to render David Letterman speechless, and New York rebel punk outfit the Last Internationale clearly fall into that category.

Making their network television debut last night (Aug. 27) on 'The Late Show with David Letterman,' the band -- which features drummer Brad Wilk of Rage Against the Machine and Audioslave -- performed an incredibly tight version of 'Life, Liberty and the Pursuit of Indian Blood' from their upcoming debut produced by Brendan O'Brien (Pearl Jam, Bruce Springsteen).

Following the song, Letterman said, "I don't know what to say! What have we been doing? That's unbelievable." Watch footage of the performance above and an acoustic rendition of 'We Will Reign' (also just released today) below:
