Seattle trio the Pharmacy describe their new album 'Stoned & Alone' as the band reaching a kind of maturity. Produced with Brandon Eggleston (the Mountain Goats, tUnE-yArDs), the album reaches a deft emotional sensitivity while cranking out up-tempo, sunny singles like the one we've got on offer today, 'Baby Be.' The Pharmacy wrote 'Stoned & Alone' after living for a year in New Orleans. The warm ebullience of the South may have had an impact on the Seattle band.

Describing 'Baby Be,' the Pharmacy's Scott Yoder told Diffuser.fm, "It's a summery song written during a Seattle winter. Conor Kiley [ex-Holy Ghost Revival, currently of Broken Nobles] recorded the backup vocals. I wish we could've recorded it in Africa. Like somewhere in Senegal or maybe Nairobi, Kenya."

As winter approaches, put this track on repeat. It may help you get through that seasonal affective disorder.
