As part of their Live from the Lot series, Google Music will stream a performance by the Shins from SXSW on YouTube Presents. The concert by the Portland-based band, held atop a parking garage in the so-called Live Music Capital of the World, will begin at 7:40 ET/6:40 CT.

'Port of Morrow,' the Shins' fourth full-length album but first since 2007's 'Wincing the Night Away,' will be released March 20 on Aural Apothecary, an imprint of Columbia owned by Shins frontman James Mercer. Despite the five-year layoff -- a generation in the indie world -- Mercer has kept busy, working with producer Danger Mouse in Broken Bells, which resulted in a self-titled album in 2010 and an EP, 'Meyrin Fields,' in 2011.

The Shins have also undergone several changes since 'Wincing the Night Away.' Bassist Marty Crandall and drummer Jesse Sandoval, who began the group with Mercer as Flake Music in 1992, have been replaced by ex-Crystal Skull Yuuki Matthews and former Modest Mouse Joe Plummer, respectively. Rounding out the  group is keyboardist Richard Swift and guitarist Jessica Dobson, who previously worked with Beck.

Following their performance at South by Southwest, the Shins will tour Europe from March 22-30 before returning to the United States for some dates, including a stop at the Bonnaroo Music and Arts Festival in Manchester, Tenn., on June 10.
